Recommended Equipment

  • Flexible tape measure (sewing type): precise and easy to use.
  • Alternative: a string or a strip of paper, to be marked on a ruler or a rigid tape measure.

1

Place the tape measure about 2 cm above the eyebrows, passing just above the ears and around the back of the skull.

2

Ensure that the measuring tool is horizontal and flat against the head, without being too tight.
Note the measurement in centimeters.

Tips Shark :

  • Repeat the measurement two to three times to ensure accuracy.
  • Get assistance to ensure an accurate measurement and avoid positioning errors of the tape measure.
  • If you are between two sizes, it is generally advised to choose the smaller size, as the internal foams of the helmet compress over time, providing a more comfortable fit after a few uses. Also, you can opt for the smaller size if you like a snug fit (type racing) or the larger size for more comfort (touring/urban type).
