SIGN YOUR RIDE
ARTICLE 1: GENERAL
1.1. These general terms and conditions apply to the ‘SIGN YOUR RIDE ’ competition, hereinafter referred to as the ‘Competition’ or the ‘Game’.
1.2. The Competition is organised by SHARK, whose registered office is located at 11 traverse de la Buzine, 13011, Marseille (hereinafter the ‘Organiser’), and will run from 10:00 on 08 OCTOBER 2026 until 23:59 on 04 NOVEMBER 2026. The Game is organised as part of the launch of the LED Campaign - SIGN YOUR RIDE.
1.3. Participation in this Competition implies full and unconditional acceptance of the provisions of these rules, including any subsequent amendments.
ARTICLE 2: COMPETITION MEDIA
The Game is announced on the following media:
• Website: shark-helmets.com
• The following social networks: Instagram (SHARK accounts)
ARTICLE 3: CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
3.1. The Game is open to natural persons of legal age residing in the eligible European countries defined by SHARK, namely only Metropolitan France, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg and Austria, provided that they are of legal age (i.e. aged 18 or over).
3.2. The following persons may not take part in the Game:
- Minors;
- The Organiser’s staff and their close family members (spouse, parents, brothers, sisters, children)
- Any person who has been involved in any capacity whatsoever in organising the Game, and their close family members (spouse, parents, brothers, sisters, children).
3.3. Entry may only be made via the media mentioned in Article 2.
Any entry to the Competition on plain paper, by post, by telephone or in any other form will not be taken into account.
Only one entry per person (same surname, same first name, same Instagram account, same postal address) is permitted for the entire duration of the Competition.
3.4. Participants must read and accept these rules without reservation when registering for the Competition, and must act fairly, which implies strict compliance with these provisions and the law, as well as the absence of any fraud or attempted fraud. Participants are also required to respect the rights of other participants.
3.5. Any participant in breach of one or more of the provisions of these rules will be excluded from the Competition and will also forfeit any prize they may have won.
ARTICLE 4: HOW TO ENTER
4.1. Participants must:
- Follow the Instagram account @sharkhelmets;
- Click on the link in the Instagram bio;
- Complete the entry form hosted on www.shark-helmets.com;
- Accept the competition rules;
- Confirm their entry.
4.2. Any registration that is incomplete, fraudulent and/or not compliant with these Rules, and/or contains inaccurate information, will not be taken into account and will render the entry void. Any participant disqualified in this way will not be entitled to any prize. The Organiser then reserves the right to reallocate any prize that would have been wrongly awarded to them.
4.3. Any entry made using automated login software, bots, computer programs or any digital or physical device designed to circumvent these rules and/or distort fairness between participants and/or defraud/hack/manipulate the winner selection mechanism is prohibited and will result in the cancellation of all entries that may have benefited from such fraud and, where applicable, the outright cancellation of the Competition.
4.4. The Organiser reserves the right to carry out any necessary checks concerning the identity, place of residence and age of participants. Any false declaration will automatically result in the participant’s disqualification.
ARTICLE 5: WINNER SELECTION
The winners will be selected by random draw within one week of the end of the Competition.
The draw will be carried out as follows:
- Each participant will be entered in an Excel file with a unique identifier
- A column using the random formula (=RAND()) will be applied
- Participants will be ranked according to this random value
- The winners will be selected based on the top positions obtained
Three separate draws will be carried out:
- one winner of 1 SKWAL I CUP helmet;
- one winner of 1 SKWAL I3 helmet;
- one winner of 1 SKWAL I3 JET helmet
This process guarantees that there is no human intervention in the selection of winners.
The winners will be contacted by SHARK by email or Instagram direct message during the week of 04 November 2026.
All messages sent in this regard are subject to verification that there has been no fraud or malfunction and that the provisions of these rules have been complied with.
The winners will have 7 days to reply via Instagram or by email. If no reply is received within this period, the prize will be awarded to a new winner.
SHARK reserves the right to select a new winner, using the above procedure, if a selected winner does not meet the residency requirement set out in Article 3 of these Rules.
ARTICLE 6: PRIZES AND PRIZE DELIVERY
6.1. Three prizes are to be won:
- Prize no. 1: 1 SHARK SKWAL I CUP helmet.
- Prize no. 2: 1 SHARK SKWAL I3 helmet.
- Prize no. 3: 1 SHARK SKWAL I3 JET helmet.
6.2. Shipping costs for physical prizes will be covered by the Organiser.
6.3. The Organiser reserves the right to modify the prizes and replace them with prizes of an equivalent nature and/or value.
6.4. The prize is personal to the winner and may not be assigned, transferred or given to a third party. It cannot be returned or exchanged for another prize.
No cash alternative will be offered.
6.5. If, for reasons beyond the Organiser’s control, the prizes cannot be delivered to the winners, the winners will lose their rights to these prizes, which will not be reallocated.
ARTICLE 7: LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: FORCE MAJEURE
7.1. The Organiser cannot be held liable if, due to force majeure or circumstances beyond its control, the Competition has to be modified, shortened or cancelled. No compensation may be claimed on this basis.
7.2. In all cases, the Organiser reserves the right to extend the Competition or postpone the announced date.
The Organiser reserves the right to stop or suspend the Competition in the event of fraud or attempted fraud.
7.3. Any dispute or claim relating to the Competition or its rules will only be considered within one month of the close of the Competition.
7.4. The Organiser cannot be held liable in the event of email misrouting, interruption of internet communications or corruption of entries (network communication, network interruption).
7.5. Participation in the Competition implies that participants are aware of and accept the characteristics, limitations and risks of the internet and related technologies, in particular with regard to technical performance, response times for consulting, querying or transferring information, risks of interruption and, more generally, the risks inherent in any connection or transmission, the lack of protection of certain data against possible misappropriation and the risks of contamination by viruses circulating on the network, without the Organiser being held liable as a result.
7.6. The Organiser cannot be held liable in the event of technical or human failures of telecommunications operators, malfunctions of the internet network, or temporary or permanent technical breakdowns.
Accordingly, in the event of any technical malfunction, the Organiser reserves the right, where appropriate, to invalidate and/or cancel the Competition without incurring any liability.
7.7. The Organiser reserves the right to stop or suspend the Competition in the event of fraud or in any case where, for whatever reason, the computer system awards prizes not provided for in these rules. In such cases, any messages informing participants that they have won will be deemed null and void. Under no circumstances may the number of prizes exceed that provided for in these rules.
ARTICLE 8: NO ASSOCIATION WITH META (INSTAGRAM)
The Competition is in no way sponsored, administered by or associated with Meta Platforms or Instagram.
ARTICLE 9: AUTHORISATION AND ASSIGNMENT OF RIGHTS
The winners authorise the Organiser to use their name, username and photograph for advertising purposes, without this entitling them to any remuneration, right or benefit other than the award of the prize. These elements may be used exclusively for the Organiser’s promotion of the Competition worldwide and for a maximum period of 2 years from the first use.
ARTICLE 10: COMPETITION ADDRESS

ARTICLE 11: MODIFICATION – CANCELLATION OF THE COMPETITION
The Organiser reserves the right to shorten, defer, modify, extend, interrupt or cancel the Competition outright, without prior notice, due to any event beyond its control, in particular in the event of force majeure, without incurring any liability and without any compensation of any kind being due to any participant.
ARTICLE 12: PERSONAL DATA
The personal data collected is intended exclusively for the Organiser in connection with the Competition and will not be used for any other purpose without the express consent of participants. The Organiser may, however, disclose it to third parties solely within the scope and for the purposes of the Competition.
Mandatory fields are indicated on the forms. Failure to provide this information may make it impossible to access certain services or to take part in the Competition.
Personal data is collected in order to validate entries to the Competition and is used to identify the participant and deliver the prize in the event of a win.

Data is kept for the period strictly necessary for its purpose, with the exception of data whose minimum retention period results from a legal or regulatory obligation or the expiry of a limitation period.
In accordance with applicable regulations, participants have at any time the right of access, rectification, instructions in the event of death, erasure, restriction of processing or objection to processing, as well as the right to data portability, by writing to the Competition address given in Article 11 of these rules, enclosing a copy of their identity card.
Participants may lodge any complaint relating to the use of their personal data with the data protection supervisory authority at the following address: CNIL - 3 Place de Fontenoy - TSA 80715 - 75334 PARIS CEDEX 07.
ARTICLE 14: APPLICATION OF THE RULES
In the event of any discrepancy between the French version of these rules and a translated version, only the French version shall prevail.
If one or more provisions of these rules are declared null or unenforceable, the remaining clauses shall retain their full force and effect.
ARTICLE 15: GOVERNING LAW
These rules, the Competition as a whole and all relations between the Organiser and participants are governed by French law.
