What is the FIM?

The FIM (International Motorcycling Federation) is the global body that governs all official motorcycle competitions, on circuit and in off-road disciplines.

Beyond the sports regulations, the FIM defines specific homologation programs for competition helmets, much more demanding than standard road norms.

The FIM Racing Homologation Programme certification is reserved for helmets capable of protecting riders under the extreme conditions of top-level racing.

Designed for very high-level performance, FIM Racing embodies the demand, safety, and excellence worthy of world podiums.

The FIM #2 is the direct evolution of the FIM #1.

From 2026, it becomes mandatory not only in MotoGP, but also in all official FIM competitions.
