David Checa

Passion as a Driving Force

At 46, David Checa has not lost his passion
for motorcycle racing. He entered the competition with the help of his brother Carlos, a former rider MotoGP, and the youngest of the Catalan siblings also started with speed and the 250 Grand Prix before successfully turning to Endurance.

Capable of riding GP, WSBK, or SSP machines, David Checa indeed achieved his greatest successes in Endurance, a discipline he discovered in 2003 with Christophe Guyot's Yamaha team.

A Career Written in Golden Letters

Triple world champion of
the discipline with GMT 94 in 2004, 2014, and 2017, the Spaniard added a fourth title to his record with the Kawasaki team Webike in 2019.

Winner notably of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Bol d'Or, and the 24 Hours of Oschersleben, Checa has been racing since 2022 with the German ERC structure, which has been fielding a BMW in EWC since last year.
