Stefano Nepa is the second Italian rider to join SHARK in 2025.
At 23 years old, Nepa is a very experienced rider.
After cutting his teeth in the Europeo Minimoto Junior A and Italiano Mini GP 50cc, he made a name for himself on home soil by winning the Pre-Moto3 (CIV) championship in 2014. In 2016, he joined Moto3 in CIV and spent two seasons in CEV Moto3.
In 2018, he secured a fifth place in Barcelona and earned a wildcard for the Italian Grand Prix.

Objective regularity and performance
He was then called by the CIP team to replace the Kazakh Makar Yurchenko.
He scored his first points in Valencia.
Without a fixed ride in 2019, he returned to CEV before reclaiming Vicente Perez's place at Avintia, a team with which he recorded two top 10 finishes.
He added three more with the Aspar team. In 2021, he joined the ranks of the BOE team, then MTA in 2022.
Ranked 12th in 2023 and then 13th in 2024, he was recruited by Paolo Simoncelli's SIC58 Squadra Corse team for 2025.
