
A revealed talent, momentum halted
Spanish Pre-Moto3 Champion in 2016, Sergio Garcia made his debut in CEV Moto3 the following year. He ranked seventh in his first season with a victory in Barcelona. Despite his four successes in 2018, he missed the title due to an injury.
His performances, however, opened the doors to the world championship in 2019 with the Estrella Galicia team. Winner of the last race in Valencia, he failed to repeat in 2020. He still recorded two podiums to climb to ninth place in the championship.
Recruited by the Aspar team in 2021, he won three times and, despite missing two races due to a kidney injury following a crash in Austin, he finished third in the championship.

a return announced at the top
He started the 2022 season with a bang with three victories and seven other podiums that allowed him to lead much of the championship before being beaten by his teammate Izan Guevara. In 2023, he moved to Moto2 with Flexbox HP40, a team with which he recorded two Top 5s.
Following the withdrawal of the Pons team, he bounced back in 2024 with MT Helmets MSI riding a Boscoscuro. He dominated much of the season thanks to two victories before injuring his shoulder in Aragon and dropping to fourth place in the championship. New rider SHARK for 2025, Garcia is logically a title contender.
