David Salvador

talent to spare, from asphalt to glory

David Salvador began his career in Spain in 2010, training at the KSB Madrid school. Since then, the Spaniard has accumulated successes: Minimotos and Minimotard champion in Madrid, Castile Supermotard and Minimotos alevin champion... Salvador continued his momentum by winning the Spanish Cradle of Champions championship in MiniGP140 2016 as well as the Minivelocidad PromoGP140 championship in 2015, then in PreMoto4 in 2016. In 2017, he ranked second in the RFME CEV PreMoto3 before continuing to impress by joining the European Talent Cup in 2018. He finished third thanks to four podiums during his first season. The following year, he divided his time between the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, where he secured three podiums, including one victory, and the JuniorGP. Although his first experience was not crowned with success, Salvador showed a lot of potential in the category during the next two seasons, with four Top 3 finishes and a fifth place in the overall standings for his third season.

Salvador, resilient and conquering

In 2020, he ranked sixth in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and in 2021, the Rivacold Snipers team called him in as a replacement for two races. Salvador secured a full-time contract for 2022 but had to withdraw before the start of the season, although he still participated in five races during the year under different colors. In 2023, the Spaniard finally lined up full-time on the grid with the CIP Green Power team led by Alain Bronec. Hampered by a knee injury at the Indian Grand Prix, the Spaniard missed the two events in Indonesia and Japan, and finished his only complete season in 21st position in the championship. For 2024, the Madrilenian joined the World Supersport 300 championship riding a Yamaha for MS Racing. He injured his arm at Magny-Cours, missed the next event in Aragon, but made a triumphant return at the finale in Jerez by winning Race 1. Galvanized by this great end to the season, the Madrilenian left MS Racing and Yamaha to join the Prodina Racing team and Kawasaki in 2025.
